This week on the Mallory Bros Podcast, the guys kick things off shamelessly before the Weekend Recap. They start with the news of Cardi B finally gearing up to drop her long-awaited sophomore album and speak on her new track “Outside”. Terrell talks about how he’s disappointed in her decision to add songs that were already on the charts and challenges if Cardi is “serious” about a next step in music. Next, B. Simone’s viral 9–5 controversy resurfaces after a clip of her speaking on her financial problems goes viral. This reignites the conversation about entrepreneurship and the hardship that comes with its ups and downs. The fellas then unpack the controversy behind Mexican OT’s latest clip where he was asked if he was comfortable using the N-Word. The bros have a good discussion on perspective and structure within the culture when it comes to things folks may find offensive and how do we address that. The Bros then do a fun Black Movie Edition “Which is Better?” series where they pit two classic films against each other and are forced to make a decision. This is a test segment for this podcast so if you like it, definitely leave a comment to do more. Later, the Bros revisit the crazy NBA Finals and the unfortunate timing of the Tyrese Haliburton injury and Terrell closes us out with a real convo on his DOOM SCROLL ADDICTION and how social media might be robbing us of peace.

Terrell is back from DR celebrating Krew’s 2nd birthday this episode of the MalloryBros Podcast of course starts with a recap of the trip and it’s not all sun and sand. He got his ass beat in the airport, was stuck in New York with his lady and kid, had hotel problems, and some MO SH*T. Either way he had a good trip with the family. You could tell the bros were excited to be back in each other's presence. Terrance talks about finding MAGGOTS on his trashcan after his electric fly-swatter habits failed him. The Bros then talk about the negative reactions to Lil Wayne’s Carter 6 Album and how a lot of it is honest, and a very small amount comes from the position Wayne's positioned himself in the last year. Later, they shift gears to talk about The Algorithm and how it seems to be taking over Major Event placements like the next "Superbowl Halftime Show" Performer. This transitions right into a roast of Popeyes' new wrap that Terrell finally tried... and yeah, it’s not good. Then the Bros have a real discussion about whether an actor’s social media presence can actually hurt box office success. This is fueled by Denzel Washington's advice to Michael B Jordon on his online presence. Are actors use of Social Media hurting their box office appeal? BECAUSE ITS THE BIGGEST GROWING MEDIA, Streaming is again discussed, this time a discussion on — is it really more sustainable than YouTube, or are both just different devils in the same suit? This leads to the heaviest topic of today's episode which is the VIRAL clip of Black American Actor Woody McClain walking out of a podcast in TEARS after speaking on his experience in the industry being "typecast"in roles that portray him to be dangerous. Terrance brings some heat on this one. And finally, with Tyler Perry and Taraji P Henson's STRAW being number 1 on NETFLIX, they close with a conversation about Tyler Perry's recipe for his films and how his heavy handedness with the TRAUMA has left a stain on his menu. The Bros are back ... let's cook. REALEST 9 forever! Love you guys.
