They then hop back to last week to give their thoughts on the case opened against Jay Z in regard to the assault of a 13 y/o girl. They cover their reaction to the news and thoughts with the new change of testimony by the accuser. They cover Jamie Foxx’s new special and speak to the debate about him vs Eddie Murphy. They then speak to the girl that slept with 100 men and the documentary that was made to capture it all. Terrell is pissed at yet another price raise by YoutubeTV. This leads to a conversation about the response to CookinwithKya and her recently going viral. They talk about Raven Symone’s recent comments, the black vs. Mexican women discourse, and more!

Episode 230 | "Just Chatting"

On this episode of the MalloryBros. Podcast, the guys start with some reflection on the holiday and call back to last podcast, discussing their plates, the walk, etc. They then briefly speak to last podcast again with their thoughts on Lil Waynes response to Kendrick Lamar’s “Wacced out Murals”. They then get into one of Terrance’s crazy random questions. Terrell covers the Top 50 College Majors by search, and the guys are surprised by Film’s ranking. Terrance then speaks to his viral tweet behind Lefty Gunplay’s comments about Kendrick where he shouts out “The Blacks”, which was met with some controversy. Terrell then lists the cities in the U.S. with the most Rats. Terrance has Chance and a Choice, Terrell hates on Popeyes biscuits, and more!

On this short episode of the MalloryBros podcast, the guys change pace and don’t start with a recap of the weekend, but instead choose to speak to what they are most grateful for as Thanksgiving arrives this coming Thursday. This leads to a conversation about Thanksgiving as a whole, the ideal plate, and when to take that “walk”. The rest of the pod, the guys talk Kendrick Lamar’s GNX as it dominated the internet this past weekend. They talk about everything from its reception, favorite records, songs they didn’t like, and more. They close with a conversation about the news that Drake would be suing UMG and Spotify over botting for “Not Like Us”. This conversation happening before UMG’s response and Drake’s second lawsuit.

On this episode of the MalloryBros. Podcast, the guys start with a conversation about their weekend. They start with recapping the boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. Terrance speaks to the entertainment aspect of the fight vs the sport. This leads to a conversation about Netflix taking on live events and the announcing of Beyonce to perform at the Halftime Show on Christmas Day. The guys give thoughts on this and also ask if this performance puts pressure on Kendrick Lamar as he’s set to perform at the Super Bowl. The guys speak to the wave of celebrities that are announcing that they are leaving Twitter. Terrance highlights Blue Sky and talks about the alternatives to the app as well as the things that lead to this. This leads to a conversation about Politics in sports as the Trump Dance has become a go to celebration for conservative NFL players. The guys continue the conversation about the idea that you have to be successful by a certain age. They counter this by highlighting all that Denzel didn’t and did do before and after the age of 35. Lastly, with the Rock’s “Red One” only doing 25 million on a budget of 250, they speak to the changes in the industry and how stardom is no longer enough to sell a film.

On this episode of the MalloryBros. Podcast, the guys start with Donald Trump winning the election. Terrell sympathizes with Black Women, and Terrance tries to make sense of the way forward. They then recap the week, but have some insightful conversation about the millenial social media arc. They speak to Rihanna’s recent comments at a show where she says God had different plans for her beyond music. Terrance’s favorite director Quentin Tarantino took shots at the Dune films. Terrell defends Denis Villeneuve and Terrance speaks to the truth in what was said. With Thug’s tweet and delete, Terrell asks Terrance for thoughts on Thug potentially NOT being good with Gunna. This leads Terrance to speak to his issue with Thug’s tweet. Terrance then uses the Weeknd’s video announcement with Apple to highlight the small windows we get into our future. They talk the evolution of VR, AI Teachers and more. They cover some specific nominations for the Grammys that was released this past week. Chance and a Choice and Course of Action make returns this week, as well as picks for movies to watch this week!

On this episode of the MalloryBros. Podcast, the guys start with a usual recap of the Week. They start with the fact that it’s Election Day, and speak to the night and what’s to come. Terrance asks a question about dating a female officer. They then speak to the biggest news of the weekend which was the release of Young Thug. They speak to his release, the tweet to Lil Baby, Gunna and more. This leads to a conversation about Kai Cenat streaming for 30 days. The guys speak to Kai’s impact and talk in detail about why they never got started with their own twitch after announcing it years ago. They break into some film conversations, comparing some films from their childhood. They asl give thoughts on the Scary Movie franchise making a return and Martin considering Blue Streak 2. They give respects to the passing of Quincy Jones and talk about 2024 as a year that came with smiles and some heartache. On this episode of the MalloryBros. Podcast, the guys start with a usual recap of the Week. They start with a conversation about not knowing any Detectives. Terrance then highlights something cool he found out about a few podcast listeners. The guys then speak to whether your Best Man can cry at your Wedding. Terrance then asks a random ass would you rather question but also gives an update on Mimi. They then get to Tommy Richmans comments on hiphop, and speak to how hiphop is used as a vehicle. This leads to a conversation about gatekeeping and what happened with Beyonce with the Country Music Awards. Terrance has a WNBA Rant, and the guys speak to seeing Lebron James and his son taking the court together for the first time. Terrance offers some pushback. Terrell asks if “Superhero” is one of Future’s best intros. He then asks Terrance a few PG County specific questions to test his memory.
