@Chichi : It's not like black people are going around shooting up gay clubs like some white people have done in the past or creating laws that puts the LGBTQ+ community at a disadvantage. This narrative that only black people frown upon the LGBTQ+ community is a myth to me and is a deflection to the real task at hand which is to fight against white supremacy.

@Chichi : I hear where you are coming from but I still feel like those hashtags are a deflection tactic. When we say #blacklivesmatter we are trying to say that all black people regardless of your sexual orientation or gender are being oppressed and we just want equal rights. Yes the LGBTQ+ community face hardships but they face them against every community not just amongst black people.

Communities of people feel as though their names go unrecognized and are put under the rug. Talking about LGTBQ+ lives isn’t often talked about black communities and is often frowned upon and these are the conversations that are need to be had.

I think I commented this under one of yalls YouTube videos but I think you’re missing the point when you see hashtags like #blacktranslivesmatter. And you do have a point Terrell, when you said that white people look at our community as if we’re divided. BUT that’s because we are. Black trans people are being targeted by OUR OWN PEOPLE. As a community we’re still dealing with Colorism and a bunch of other things as well. But my point is, the reason why those hashtags are used is because those

In terms of Black Panther, Eric’s intentions were pure but the execution was wrong. And T’chala acknowledged that and even said that the way his father went about things were wrong and they should’ve never left Eric by himself, fatherless. If y’all remember, in the end Wakanda started planting resources all over the world and the first one was in Oakland.
